The adherence gap

Medication non-adherence is one of healthcare’s most serious and costly problems. Studies consistently show that 20–30% of prescriptions are never filled and 50% of chronic-disease medications aren’t taken as prescribed — and more than 30% of a pharmaceutical company’s revenue can be lost to non-adherence. Every unfilled prescription and missed dose is a lost chance for the patient and lost revenue for the sponsor.

Our approach — real clinicians, not a call centre

We employ only doctors, psychologists, nurses and educators specialized in adherence, supported by our own in-house call centre with specialized nursing staff. Each patient has a single dedicated nurse as their point of contact throughout the journey. Adherence work is paired with Behavioural Factor Management led by our psychological-counselling specialists, and technology-based interventions (PSP eMed) to reach the highest adherence rates.
